So I met the new neighbor's son

He brought his siblings and we let them use our pool because its really hot out and it’s the friendly thing to do. When his mum introduced us, he literally looked me up and down, popped his gum and said “eh, she’s cute enough. We can hang.” I feel like this is why I refuse to make friends.
